Mayplace Primary is a fantastic school with amazing pupils; it is a large 2/3 form entry school.We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Apprentice Administration Assistant to join our dynamic team who can provide a strong level of administrative support to staff and parents. This position requires the successful candidate to have the capacity to have excellent, all round, administrative skills including attention to detail and forward planning. Being able to manage many different tasks while retaining complete confidentiality and discretion is essential.

The school is part of the Primary First Trust, a primary only family of schools which currently consists of ten primary schools in Medway, Kent and Bexley.  This gives us a wide support network and allows our staff to grow professionally and our children to achieve excellence.

We are ideally seeking someone who has:

  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Good standard of ICT skills.
  • Ability to gradually work with minimal supervision and to act on own initiative.
  • Ability to cope with conflicting demands, deadlines and interruptions.
  • Empathy with children and young people.
  • Willingness to be flexible.
