Meopham Community Academy is looking to recruit a Learning Support Assistant to join our team!

Meopham Community Academy is an oversubscribed two-form entry primary school in the village of Meopham, with links to the M2 and M20. If you are passionate about supporting children to reach their full potential and want to work in a school striving to provide the very best opportunities for our children, we could be the school for you! 

We have one role which for the right candidate could be part or full-time, working with children with additional needs; therefore this is a temporary position linked to funding received for the child. The successful candidate will be required to work Monday to Wednesday or Monday to Friday, term time only, from 8:30am – 3:30pm.

We are looking for someone who is:  

  • able to contribute to, and work as part of a team  
  • ideally has experience working with children with learning difficulties or delivering interventions
  • passionate about enabling every child to fulfil their potential  
  • hold a TA qualification with GCSEs in English & Maths A-C or equivalent
  • committed to high expectations of children's learning and behaviour  
  • excellent communication and personal skills and a flexible attitude

Meopham Community Academy is a two form entry primary school set in a beautiful village location and the school prides itself on providing a happy, safe and caring environment for all its pupils.
