EYFS Teaching Assistant for Evergreen Speech and Language Centre

NJC Grade D2 points 4 – 11 (£13,906 - £15,974) for 32.5 hours, 38 weeks

(pro rata £18,993 - £21,748 for a full-time post)

 

We are looking for an enthusiastic teaching assistant to join our established team providing support to EYFS pupils with speech and language needs in the Evergreen Centre at Warren Wood Primary Academy.  Warren Wood Primary Academy is designated by the Local Authority as a co-located specialist provision for speech and language needs. The Evergreen Centre is included within the main Warren Wood School building and has the same Headteacher and Governing Body as the main school.

 

The Evergreen Centre offers 40 places across the primary age range with opportunities for pupils in the centre to enjoy social interaction within a mainstream setting, as well as inclusion in elements of the national curriculum as appropriate. All pupils within the Evergreen Centre are fully involved in the life of the school.

 

The successful applicant will follow a programme of support clearly defined by the SENCO and work alongside teaching and other appropriate staff dependent on the nature of the particular needs of the pupils.
