We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic teacher for our year 1/2 mixed age class, to teach full time, starting in January 2022. 

We expect great teaching to support children across KS1, with an ability to promote high expectations and demostrate good progress for all pupils. 

We can offer a small class of delightful children, who are keen to learn and are well supported at home.  We are a small church school, with a very supportive and friendly ethos.  There are currently two TAs allocated to this class.

This is an opportunity for someone to develop their subject leadership skills, and as such, the successful candidate will be asked to join our subject leader pairs and to help to jointly lead some foundation subjects.  The actual subjects will be by mutual agreement, depending on their strengths and interests. 

A keenness to join our dedicated team is essential, experience in subject leadership would be an prefered, but training can be given.  We are keen to support, develop and promote all our staff.

We are a small rural primary school, set between the villages of Bossingham and Stelling Minnis, six miles south of Canterbury and 12 miles from Folkestone. Our history dates back to 1784 and we are one of the oldest schools in Kent. We are a Good school (Ofsted) and were judged Outstanding as a Church School (Diocesan Inspection). We have a strong Christian ethos throughout the school, a supportive and active Friends Association, and a strong team of hard working and dedicated teachers, support staff and governors.
