Head of Premises & Estates

37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year

6th December 2021 preferred start date

At an exciting time of growth for the Trust we looking to appoint a Head of Premises & Estates to manage our strong Trust-wide Premises Team and provide leadership to deliver provision, strategy and compliance across the Trust.

The successful candidate will be a key member of the Trust’s central team, reporting to the Chief Operating Officer and will be pivotal to the development and delivery of the Estates Strategy within our growing organisation.

Our ideal candidate will be able to:

  • Manage and motivate teams to deliver to a high standard
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrate prior experience of contract and project management and of procurement and tendering processes relevant to the activities
  • Evidence a proven track record of working with contractors to successfully deliver a wide range of estates projects and services.

 This role is ideal for anyone looking for a new challenge and keen to join a passionate and committed organisation. The Trust is currently engaged with a number of significant estates projects, including working with the DfE to build a new 8 form entry school for its highly successful free school, Stone Lodge School, which will be ready for occupation from Easter 2022.

The role is based in the Trust’s central office but the successful candidate will be expected to visit all our school sites on a regular basis.
