We are a SEND school catering for pupils aged 11 - 19.  Our school is calm and orderly.  Our ethos is to improve the outcomes for children irrespective of the obstacles faced.  We work with rigour, pace and passion to ensure our pupils achieve the best possible outcomes.  In addition to academic outcomes we also embrace vocational outcomes and strive to provide our pupils with the self-confidence to move to a position of independence and fulfilment.

We are seeking teachers and tutors with experience of working with SEND children.   A knowledge of KS2/KS3 curriculum, entry level, functional skills or experience of delivering vocational qualifications would be beneficial.  Do you share our determination to improve the outcomes for pupils? Can you make a positive difference to the lives of our pupils?  If so, we would love to hear from you.

We offer a nurturing and supporting staff team with excellent CPD and progression opportunities.

Applications are welcomed from suitable candidates.

Information about the school

Our schools Belle Vue School in Cranbrook and Cornfields School in Ashford are smaller than average-sized special schools, registered to admit between 50 - 60 pupils. The schools serve pupils aged 7-19, who have a range of primary diagnosis including autism, social, emotional and mental health difficulties and cognition and learning difficulties. Our pupils are wonderfully individual, each one with strengths and areas for improvement. Our schools are calm, quiet and orderly settings where pupils can be supported to develop academically and emotionally.

Our vision is that every child should go to an inspiring and life changing school, have the best teaching and benefit from all services working in partnership with each other to ensure their future life chances are improved.

At the core of our schools is a drive to improve life chances of children. We will go above & and beyond, set high expectations and improve outcomes by working together with others.
