We require an Art Technician to work across Holcombe Grammar School and Victory Academy to support the smooth running of the Art department's. Preparing teaching resources, maintaining equipment and the teaching environment to a high standard, and supporting the teachers in lessons, all of which enhances the learning experience for students.

This is an exciting role to work with both schools. Holcombe are working towards obtaining their Artsmark award and The Victory Academy are on their renewal journey for their Platinum Artsmark award, which is held by less than 1% of schools in England.

What you will need to succeed:

  • Committed to supporting students 
  • A willingness to work in a team and be able to use own initiative when required is essential
  • Responsible for ordering materials, on top of replenishing material stock
  • To keep all classrooms organised with a key eye for display work
  • Under the direction of the Art Curriculum Leaders, ensure that all Health & safety requirements are met for all Art classrooms and equipment. 
  • Practical/hands-on experience is a necessity 
  • Have a keen interest in the arts, photography, theatre
  • Some knowledge of Ceramics is desirable but not essential
  • Previous school experience is desirable but not essential
