The school is seeking a practical, flexible and friendly person for the post of Site Assistant at a small Church of England primary school in the village of Borden, Sittingbourne.

 

The role includes a range of duties connected with security, caretaking and minor repairs of the school site. The requirements of this role will include occasional alarm call outs.

 

The successful candidate will be practical with good DIY skills, take pride in their work, and be able to observe safe working practices whilst carrying out their duties.

 

The hours of work will be 07:15am to 08:15am and 17:00pm to 18:00pm, Monday to Friday term time including inset days. There is also the requirement to work for further 4 weeks during holiday time

 

The contract is initially fixed term until 31 August 2022.

Salary range is OCMAT KR3 £17769 to £18039 (pro rata). A pay award is pending.

 

This position is subject to a full background DBS check and reference checks because the successful candidate will be working in education and will come into contact with children. The successful candidate must be eligible to live and work in the UK.
