We are a school with high expectations of pupil's achievement and behaviour, ensuring every child achieves their full potential and are looking to appoint a professional, dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join our school.

Are you passionate about making a real difference to pupils and their learning outcomes?

In this important role and you will initially work within a year 2/3 classroom with lovely children and staff.

The post is for Monday to Friday, 8.30 a.m. to 3.30 p.m.

We expect the successful candidate to:

  • Be able to support in the delivery of high quality learning experiences for all pupils;
  • Have high expectations of learning and behaviour and inspire and motivate our children;
  • Be supportive, nurturing and understanding with high expectations.
  • Demonstrate good communication skills both orally and written.
  • Work well as part of a team.

The role also includes providing pupil supervision cover for some break and lunch duties.

Visits to the school are encouraged and should be arranged through the school office.

Brenzett CE Primary School is an exciting and vibrant place to learn and develop. We were judged as GOOD in our SIAMS and in our most recent OFSTED as a ‘Good School’. We are an active and leading school within Aquila, The Diocese of Canterbury Academies Trust (www.aquilatrust.co.uk) We work in strong partnership with other schools across the local area, South Kent and beyond, providing support and learning opportunities for our staff. We are situated along the A259/B2080. We have strong links with the local Church and Community. Our supportive Governing Body and active PFA play key roles in school life.
