New Ash Green Primary School are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and caring Midday Supervisor who enjoys working with children and who will make lunch times exciting and innovative.

Flexibility, resilience and good communication skills are essential as well as a love of working with children.

Every day is different and we are looking for an energetic, positive and resourceful person who can demonstrate flexibility, patience and high expectations of behaviour standards. 

The main purpose of this role is to supervise and assist pupils throughout the lunch period to ensure their well-being and safety.

Duties include, managing good behaviours during the lunch period, engaging children in purposeful play activities, promoting constructive play and encouraging an inclusive playground environment.

You will be required to work between the hours of 12pm - 1.30pm, Monday to Friday, term time only, for 1 hour and 20 minutes per day. The salary is within Kent Range Band 3 £18,425 and will be paid pro rata.

Information about the school

The school serves the community of New Ash Green Village and surrounding area. The school has excellent resources and is set within attractive grounds. There are two halls, four playgrounds, a field, an orchard, fourteen rooms, a mobile, a medical room and library areas along with an IT suite of thirty-one computers. We are a highly professional team of colleagues who welcome new team members. The school encourages parental involvement and our PTA offers significant support. Visits to the school are welcomed.
