Due to the expansion and success of our school, we have fantastic opportunities for a Key Stage 1 teacher to join our team of already established, dynamic and professional practitioners who strive for greatness and enhance the performance of our pupils. 

Ideally you will have experience of teaching at Key Stage 1, however this is not essential as we welcome applications from newly qualified teachers. We are looking for dedicated and enthusiastic teachers who will deliver high quality learning experiences to all our pupils, inspiring them to achieve to the best of their ability.

As a Teacher at Aylesham Primary School you will:

  • Plan differentiated work to meet the needs of individuals and groups promoting progression, continuity and quality of learning.
  • Use a variety of teaching and learning styles and communicate clear learning objectives and expectations.
  • Fully support the vision, mission and values of the school and promote the highest levels of achievement within the class, liaising effectively with the whole school community.

To be a successful Teacher at Aylesham Primary School you will:

  • Be a qualified, or newly qualified teacher with previous teaching experience in an educational setting.
  • Have the ability to support the ethos, aims and commitment of the school to provide the best possible learning and social/emotional experience for pupils.
  • Have the ability to build and manage relationships constructively with a wide range of pupils, adults and professionals and the wider community. We are committed to recruiting with care, safeguarding and promoting the wellbeing of all children and we expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.

Aylesham Primary School is a two-form entry primary school in the heart of the Kent countryside, six miles south of Canterbury, serving Aylesham and the surrounding villages.
