About the role: Marden Primary Academy is seeking a Teaching Assistant (Apprentice) to join their vibrant team as soon as possible. The successful candidates will undertake a Level 3 Teaching Assistant apprenticeship. Whether you are a school leaver or more experienced Teaching Assistant/Learning Support Assistant, this programme will offer you the chance to develop your skills and get ahead in your career.

The successful candidates will be good role models for their pupils, acting with honesty and integrity at all times. You’ll take part in team meetings and contribute to planning and supporting class activities. You’ll promote Fundamental British Values through spiritual, moral, social and cultural development and positive behaviours, and above all else you are crucial in contributing to improved pupil progress and development. The actual salary is £7,413 per annum (FTE £10,000), based on 32.5 hours per week, Term Time + 1 week of inset. Apprenticeship Summary
Working weeks: Monday - Friday during Term Time + 1 week inset
Total hours per week (on average): 32.5 hours per week (including the 20% training element of the Apprenticeship Programme) + holiday allowance
Apprenticeship duration: 18 months (approx)
Programme delivery type: All modules are delivered as a combination of online learning which can be completed at your place of work, classroom sessions and contrasting work placements in schools

Working at Marden Primary Academy: Marden joined Leigh Academies Trust in September 2020. The academy serves the beautiful village community of Marden in Kent and has 40 pupils in each year group.
