Teaching Assistant position

 

WORKING HOURS: TERM TIME / SCHOOL HOURS

8:15am–3:10pm (with a half hour unpaid lunch break)

 

 Monday to Friday

SALARY SCHEME: KENT RANGE 3

CLOSING DATE:  29th September 2021 at 9.00am

INTERVIEW TASKS DATE:  6th October 2021

FORMAL INTERVIEW DATE:  7th October 2021

START - AS SOON AS POSSIBLE

 

We are looking for a highly efficient, flexible, friendly and reliable Teaching Assistant, to give individual learning support to a child linked to High Needs Funding, alongside general learning support within the classroom.  You will need to hold a relevant Teaching Assistant qualification/currently be on a Teaching Assistant Qualification course, hold GCSE Maths and English Grade C / Level 4 or above and be IT literate.

Evidence of these qualifications and photo identification will need to be shown at the first stage of the interview process. If not shown, the interview process will be unable to continue from this point.

You will need to be energetic, supportive and a positive team player with a sense of humour and excellent communication skills. Previous Teaching Assistant experience and a First Aid qualification would be an advantage.   

You must also be willing to contribute to the continued improvement of our wonderful school!
