Goldwyn School is looking to recruit an enthusiastic and committed Science Technician/Teaching Assistant to join our valued team of staff in supporting children and young people. This is an exciting time to become part of our organisation as we look to further expand and build on our success.

We are looking for an individual who is passionate about working with children and young people with Special Educational Needs, and who can help us make a positive impact on a student’s life by helping them to achieve their full potential. All our students have an Education, Health and Care Plan in place and a range of needs including Social, Emotional & Mental Health difficulties, Autistic Spectrum Disorder and ADHD.

The successful individuals will have:
Goldwyn students are of mixed and high ability (NC level 3-4 on entry) and as such are capable of achieving GCSE and other Level 2 qualifications in Year 11.
These posts are offered on KR3/4 (depending upon experience) £18,425-£19,625) per annum (pro rata) plus SEN Allowance of £1,1323 and is for 32.5 hours per week, 39 weeks a year (term time only plus 5 staff development days).

Goldwyn School is a KCC Foundation Special School for children and young people with an EHCP for SEMH needs from age 11 to 18. Students who are admitted to the school have complex and wide ranging difficulties and come from a wide range of socio-economic backgrounds and a wide geographical area.
