Aycliffe Community Primary School requires a Sports Coach would will lead our Sports Strategy and engagement in competitive sport.

This position of 20hrs per week, term time only is temporary until August 2022 pending sports funding. The position involves supporting PE within the school day and leading after-school sport sessions. 

You will have either experience in coaching, qualifications or willingness to engage in professional development in sport. Training in teaching swimming would be desirable.

You will have:

A sports coach qualification, or equivalent; Good understanding of Literacy, Numeracy and ICT; GCSE English and Maths C or equivalent; A calm and flexible approach; Good understanding of school policies and procedures relating to health & safety, behaviour, attendance, equal opportunities and child protection.
