We are seeking an experienced, well organised and enthusiastic Senior Administration Officer to join Culverstone Green Primary School. The successful candidate will work calmly amidst a busy environment whilst priding themselves on making an excellent first impression to school visitors. You will believe first impressions and a positive experience create long-lasting relationships with parents and that the school office plays a pivotal role to the school’s success. You will be able to deal calmly with matters face-to-face, over the phone and via email.

The successful candidate will be a great team player, who is able to work well within a small admin team. It is likely the successful candidate will have previous experience of working in an educational environment. You will be flexible in your approach, able to work effectively adjusting to the daily demands of a busy school office while still delivering a first-rate customer service experience. You will be able to process and manage information accurately under pressure whilst still maintaining high standards of performance levels. An understanding of relevant child protection policies which keep children safe in a school setting would be beneficial but is not essential as full training would be provided.

You should have strong Microsoft Office skills and be able to work accurately. Experience of using Arbor or other school software and administration systems would be an advantage. Previous experience of working in a school environment is desirable but not essential. 

 What we can offer you:

A salary based on Kent Range 5 (£19,723 FTE).

This will be pro-rated down to an actual salary of £16,964.44. 

  • A permanent contract for 37 hours a week (8.00am – 4.00pm Mon. 8:00am to 4:30pm Tues - Fri), Term Time Only + Inset days. (approx. times)

  • Appropriate professional development and training will be available to address any skills gaps for the successful candidate.
