Job role: Associate Teacher

Salary: FMAT Band D point 2 £22,993 p.a (Pro-rata to £16, 725.90 pa)

Hours: 32 hours per week (5 days per week)

Term Time only Plus Training Days

Contract Status: Permanent

Contract Start Date: September 2021

The school is looking to recruit an Associate Teacher to work within the Multi Academy Trust. This is a developmental role designed to provide an opportunity for candidates to gain experience of the teaching profession and it is likely to be of special interest to candidates considering a future career in teaching, though others are welcome to apply.

The successful candidate will join a team in a busy environment where duties include supervising the learning that takes place within the classroom and administering the work set by subject teachers who are absent.

Applicants should have a high standard of general education, ideally to degree level, high level interpersonal skills, previous experience of working with young people and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
