We are looking to appoint a part-time temporary Playworker to work alongside our dedicated team at our Breakfast and After School Club.  The hours of work will be:

Mon – Friday 7.30 – 9.00 (7.5 hrs pw)
Mon – Friday 3.00 – 6.00 (15 hrs pw)

The ideal candidate will enjoy working and playing with the children. You should be an enthusiastic person who can relate well to the children and encourage them to play games with each other. A basic awareness of health and safety issues would be desirable. 

At our Schools Out! provision, the children enjoy a range of indoor and outdoor activities, behave impeccably and interact positively with adults and each other.

This role would be suitable for someone who is looking to gain experience of working in childcare, or a school environment.

Valley Invicta Primary School at East Borough is a two-form entry school for children aged 4 to 11, with a Specialist Resource Provision, in the heart of the local community.

The school’s spacious facilities sit in a large outdoor space, with a forest school, and well-equipped sports and play areas. There are many extra-curricular activities on offer and bespoke spaces for music and ICT.
