We have an really exciting opportunity for a Business Support Officer to join our school. We have a hardworking and welcoming office team who enjoy supporting each other and have a great sense of humour.

This job is for 40 weeks a year, 8am - 4.30pm each day (term time + one week during school holidays) 

Our school office is the heart of the school and is very busy at all times so you must have the following skill set:

  • You will be able to work to tight deadlines in a methodical manner observing confidentiality at all times.
  • Excellent administration skills, with a high level of efficiency, accuracy and confidentiality
  • Ability to be flexible
  • An ability to work with minimal supervision and direction as well as multi task and use initiative
  • Previous experience of working in a school or other education environment is essential

Information about the school

Joydens Wood Junior School is located in a semi-rural setting on the outskirts of London. We are a member of the Nexus Education Schools Trust. We are a friendly and caring school with a team of enthusiastic, committed and hardworking staff.

We have approximately 310 pupils on roll in Years 3 to 6, with a 3-form entry in each year group.

We have sets of classroom laptops and smart screens in all classes. The large playing field and our generous outside space allows our children to thrive with our various sports teams being successful in many local competitions. Combined with extra-curricular opportunities, performances and school residential trips, our school offers the chance for every child to unlock their potential.
