Hunton CE Primary is a unique place to be, having a caring ethos where everyone is valued and a strong working partnership with parents, governors and the community.

We are looking for an experienced administrator / receptionist who is passionate about enabling every child to succeed and is enthusiastic to work with a committed and hardworking staff team. A caring approach and a good sense of humour are essential.

The position is for 38 weeks per year (term time) for 30 hours per week. We will also consider a job share.

The hours are:-

2 days 8.30am – 4.00pm (days to be agreed)

3 days 8.30am – 1.30pm (days to be agreed)

There may be extra paid hours to be agreed as and when.

The successful candidate will be responsible for SIMs administration, other office administration, school communication and management of the school's social media accounts.

  • excellent typing skills and a good level of education, including English and Maths, are essential. 
  • he/she will ideally have previous experience of working within a school environment and knowledge of relevant computer software.
  • training will be provided.
  • the post requires the ability to be methodical and well organised, work well under pressure, prioritising work within a busy environment.
  • the successful candidate needs to be a team player, but also able to use their initiative.

We are a Voluntary Aided Church of England Primary School. The school currently has 99 pupils taught in 4 year groups comprising R; 1 and 2; 3 and 4; 5 and 6. The PAN is currently 15.
