Term Time Only, 38 weeks per year plus 2 INSET days

 9:00am-4.30pm Monday to Thursday and 9:00am - 3:30pm Friday

Kent Scheme Salaries KR5 (£19,723-£20,893) equating to £15,303 per annum

 

We are seeking an enthusiastic, dynamic and efficient colleague to join our team of committed professionals.  The successful candidate will provide a range of skills to organise and manage the learning resources in the school Library; organising and managing the school’s Learning Resources in conjunction with the Head of English. The successful candidate will have experience in working with young people.  Applicants will show a commitment to support the ethos of the school and an ability to implement its policies, including Safeguarding, Child Protection, Equal Opportunities and Health and Safety. 

 

Outline of Main Duties:

The postholder is required to work for 38 weeks per year term time only. The postholder will receive a payment in respect of their pro rata entitlement to Annual Leave appropriate to their grade, Bank Holidays and the KCC concessionary day which is included in the salary above. 

 

Maidstone Grammar School for Girls is a very successful selective girls’ school of 1220 students with a mixed sixth form of approximately 340.  Since July 2019 we have been appointed by the Department for Education as a Computer Hub in recognition of the expertise the school has evidenced in Computing Education and will take a lead in training teachers across the south east in the delivery of Computing. The post offers the opportunity to work with intellectually able young people in a supportive and friendly environment.  Staff benefits include strong support for professional development and healthcare scheme.
