Here at Higham we are lookingto appoint an enthusiatic and hard working teaching assistant to work 1:1 with a pupil with behaviour needs.

This would be a KS2 position for a fixed term until July 2022 as this is linked to a child with high needs funding. This post is linked to the needs of an individual pupil.

The hours are 8.45am - 12.00pm daily Mon to Fri term time, a total of 16.25 hours per week at Kent Range 4 contracted for 43 weeks per year including holiday. 

The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher within and outside the classroom supporting an individual pupil (one to one or as part of a group) to enable them to access their learning. You will also work well within an established team supporting and sharing strategies with colleagues.

The successful candidate will support the school SENCO and ASENCO in meeting the needs for this pupil.
