We need a new IT Technician for Team Tunbury. Please join us!

This is a newly created post, starting in September 2021. The hours of work are 35 hours per week, 8.30am-4.00pm, term-time only (39 weeks per year). There may be some flexibility on term-time leave to accommodate work during school holidays, for example with new IT installation projects.

At Tunbury Primary School, we have 21 classrooms, two halls, mobile sets of laptops and ipads and an IT suite.  Our IT Technician will be responsible for the smooth operation of all IT across the school, covering both curriculum and administration areas.  Additionally, we would like our Technician to be able to work alongside our teachers and teaching assistants, supporting learning through technology with our children.

We are undertaking significant investment in our IT systems in July 2021, with the installation of a new network server, wi-fi upgrades throughout the school and 31 new computers for our IT suite. As a result of this, it's an exciting time for a new colleague to join our team.

The successful candidate will have relevant qualifications and experience - please see the attached Job Description and Person Specification for further details.

If you would like to find out more about our school, please phone, email or visit us. We're able to show prospective candidates around the school, but only after 4pm to reduce contact and Covid risks. We look forward to hearing from you.
