Information about the school

We are a thriving, one form entry school within an idyllic village setting with excellent road connections. The school has close links with St. Botolph’s Church, Chipstead village, and Chevening House. We have been graded as Good by OFSTED (2019) and Outstanding by church SIAMs (2017) inspections.

Chevening children are enthusiastic and enjoy learning. The staff team is diligent and dedicated to providing the best education for the children.

We are inspired by the Parable of the Mustard Seed (Matthew 13: 31-32): “The kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed, which a man took and planted in his field. Though it is the smallest of all seeds, yet when it grows, it is the largest of garden plants and becomes a tree, so that the birds come and perch in its branches.” and aim to provide an excellent education by being

  • true to Christ and His teachings.

  • known for kind and thoughtful actions and attitudes.

  • inclusive in serving, sharing and showing God’s love to benefit all.

This Biblical Vision underpins our discussions, decisions and direction; our school values are well-established and alive in all we do. We are seeking individuals who can uphold this ethos.
