We are seeking to appoint a friendly and methodical administrator to join our organisation from June 2021, to fulfil the role of Administrative Officer. This post is for 35 hours per week, Kent Range 5 (£19,723 to £20,893) pro-rata, depending on experience. Working hours will be Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 4.00pm, term time only.

The postholder is required to work 39 weeks per year. In addition, the postholder will receive a payment in respect of their pro rata entitlement to Annual Leave appropriate to their grade, Bank Holidays and the KCC concessionary day. 

The post holder will be responsible for a variety of administrative tasks and will initially be based at the Ifield School Sixth Form (Link Centre) based at North Kent College, Gravesend campus in Lower Higham Road, Gravesend.

The successful candidate should possess GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent), Grade C or above. They must be flexible in their approach to work, self motivated  and be able to prioritise their work effectively in order to meet deadlines. They will also need to possess good interpersonal qualities, strong communication skills and be computer literate with a sound knowledge of Microsoft Office and strong excel skills. Knowledge of SIMS.net and previous experience of working in a school environment would be advantageous, although not essential as training will be provided.
