Brunswick House Primary School is looking to appoint a temporary caretaker to join our fantastic staff team. Expected start date: May/June 2021.

We are looking to appoint someone with a range of proven skills and expertise in relevant maintenance and DIY related tasks. Previous experience of working in a school would be advantageous, but not essential.

Recognised skills in plumbing, carpentry, electrics would serve you well in this post.

You will be responsible for the general maintenance and caretaking activities at the school and will need to have a good level of understanding of the health and safety requirements of a large site.

We require self-motivated candidates who are able to demonstrate that they are active, versatile, well organised and reliable, with excellent communication skills.

Some duties are physical in nature and include outside working. You should, therefore, be comfortable lifting furniture, equipment and deliveries to statutory limits. 

Working Pattern: 26 -27 hours a week, Monday to Friday: 06:50 - 12:10. Timings over the school summer holidays would change - these will be agreed with the successful candidate.
