Cressey College is a multi-site school for students (5-19) with social, emotional and attachment difficulties, with additional complex needs and / or particularly challenging behaviour. At Cressey College we succeed where previous schools have been unable to, ensuring a bright future for all of our students.

Our approach is nurture-based, with positive management of behaviour and small classes of no more than 5 students. This enables us to achieve positive outcomes, in spite of challenging behaviour and complex needs. There is a strong focus on improving literacy and numeracy, and on developing personal and social skills. 

What we offer for Teaching Assistants at Cressey College

  • Teaching Assistant initial training programme, and extensive on-the-job training
  • Level 3 in Education & Training qualification
  • Class Leader Development programme
  • Management Development Programme
  • Teacher Training programme, to become a Qualified Teacher
  • 39 weeks / year
  • Starting salary £18k for working 39 weeks of the year.
