SECONDARY TEACHING ASSISTANT REQUIRED FOR TERM 6 (JUNE 2021)

Monday – Friday, 8.45 a.m. – 2.30 p.m. 4 days a week and 8.45 am - 3.30 pm 1 day a week

27.5 hours per week, Term Time Only

We are excited to be in a position to expand our Teaching Assistant team at the Secondary site and are looking for someone with the experience, expertise and ambition to join our team and contribute to our vision that “every moment, every day, every individual counts”!

 As a secondary TA you will:

  • Have experience of working with children to support their learning;
  • Have opportunities to support clubs and extended day activities if desired.
  • Hold a relevant TA qualification or have the equivalent experience
  • English and Maths GCSE at grades 9 – 5 or equivalent
  • Understanding of children with SEND issues and experience of working with them.
  • The ability to be flexible to the needs of the school
  • The ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team
  • A passion to enable every child to achieve their full potential and seek innovative ways of doing so
  • Excellent communication skills with a flexible attitude and effective time management skills
