This is an exciting opportunity for a suitably experienced candidate to make a real difference to pupils and their learning outcomes. Within the ASPIRE federation we are looking to appoint 2 full time Active leaders. Within this role you would split your week between two of the ASPIRE federation schools. During your time within a school you will be supporting active learning such as active maths and English, leading games throughout playtimes and lunchtimes, running after school clubs, supporting curriculum PE sessions and leading interventions such as BEAM / write dance.
 
Our support team work flexibly across the whole school to meet the pupils' needs and therefore the successful applicant will be able to demonstrate that they can assist in promoting the learning and personal development of all pupils, including but not exclusively, those with special educational needs. As well as working alongside the class teacher and groups of pupils, the successful candidate may also be required to support pupils on a 1:1 basis and deliver intervention programmes to support small groups of children to raise standards.
 
The role requires good organisational, personal and interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of children.
We require a good standard of general education and GCSE qualifications in English and Mathematics at Grade C or above.

The ASPIRE Federation is a partnership of four small village primary schools in rural Kent, near the county town of Maidstone Two schools are Church of England primary schools and two are community primary schools. The ASPIRE mission statement is:
