Previous experience working in a similar role, managing a team within a school environment is desirable. 

Do you have experience of administrative duties working in a school and are looking for your next role to develop your career?  We have an exciting opportunity at Nexus Foundation Special School to work as the Administration Manager supporting our pupils with special educational needs.  This is a new role that has been created as our school continues to expand and our pupil numbers increase.  The role includes managing a small team who carry out administrative support for our pupils including arranging and attending Annual Review meetings, co-ordinating and managing the school’s admission processes, overseeing the co-ordination of other pupil related meetings, liaising with parents, staff and other professionals such as social workers.  You will be responsible for ensuring the team delivers an efficient and effective service, to act as a point of contact for Kent County Council’s Special Educational Needs Department, and to keep up to date with legislation and procedural changes, as well as minuting some of the meetings.  To be successful in this role, you will possess excellent communication, customer service, prioritisation and planning skills, and have the drive an enthusiasm to take the team to the next level.  Ideally, you will have experience of managing a team and have worked in a school or similar environment.
