BEST KEPT SECRET IN KENT!  WE ARE A HIDDEN GEM!

We think our school is very special.  We make learning irresistible for our children and staff through an experience based curriculum.  You could be the lucky teaching assistant who gets to be part of these exciting events!  We now have a great opportunity for a new member to join our year 5 and 6 team as a teaching assistant to provide support within the classroom and run intervention programmes for individual pupils and small groups.  This is a full time post from 8.30 a.m. to 3.30 p.m [1.45 p.m. finish on a Friday].  During our last Ofsted [March 2018], the inspector couldn’t help but notice the strength of our commitment to the wellbeing of all our staff and children.

What are we like?  Well, as a staff we make time to have a laugh together, enjoy learning with the children, use up gluesticks and bluetac, file things in safe places, eat plenty of chocolate, dress up, organise trips, join in and generally have a great time at work.  Check out our school tour to get an idea of what our school is like https://www.east-peckham.kent.sch.uk/virtual-open-events/

Unfortunately due to covid guidance we are still unable to welcome visitors to our school, but if you wish to have a chat about this post, please ring our headteacher, Mrs Wickens, or our deputy, Mrs McAreavey.
