Advert

Eythorne Elvington Community Primary School are looking for a creative, innovative and engaging teacher to teach a small class of Year 1 pupils for part of the school week (0.6) from September 2021. This post will initially be on a temporary one year contract with a view to it being extended from September 2022 onwards.

This cohort of 12 children are just about to complete their first school year and have been under the guidance of an outstanding EYFS class teacher since last September.  Unfortunately, due to COVID, a large portion of their school year has been disrupted by them having to learn from home.    We are now looking for someone to come in and make up for any lost time by planning and delivering high quality teaching and learning.

As a school, we want our teachers to be dynamic and forward thinking with their ideas to move not only their class on but have an impact across the whole school.  We prioritise CPD and encourage all staff to continuously look for opportunities to better themselves.

We are a small close knit team of staff and so will be looking for the right candidate to be a team player and have excellent communication skills as well as a good sense of humour.

We welcome applications from all experience ranges including NQTs.

Please contact the Business Manager to arrange a visit to the school on 01304 830376.

We look forward to hearing from you.
