How would you like to work in a happy, helpful and productive school that has a real team spirit?

Are you a passionate, enthusiastic and energetic classroom practitioner, who is dedicated to making a difference to children’s learning?

We are seeking to appoint a teacher from September for our mixed year 3 and 4 class.

You will be part of a dynamic and professional team, who work together to foster our pupils' independence and thinking skills, encouraging them to take responsibility for their learning.

As a teacher you will:

  • Take responsibility for teaching a class and have high expectations of pupils in order to build successful relationships.
  • Set challenging teaching and learning objectives; planning lessons and sequences of lessons to ensure good progress for all children.
  • Make appropriate use of the school's monitoring and assessment strategies to evaluate pupils' progress towards planned learning objectives.

We are friendly, supportive and keen to capitalise on your strengths. Whether you are experienced or newly qualified, you'll share our commitment to develop the skills and talents of each child.

Whilst we are in a rural location, we are only 30 minutes from Ashford, Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells. Come and visit our little village school and see what you think!

Frittenden CEP School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The successful candidate will be required to provide excellent references and complete a DBS check.

If this position appeals to you, please contact the school office to arrange a visit or an informal conversation on 01580 852250. Please have a look at our website www.frittenden.kent.sch.uk which will give you a flavour of our school.

All applications are to be made via the Kent-teach KCC application form.
