We are seeking to appoint a highly skilled and motivated Teaching Assistant on a part-time fixed term contract for one academic year to support in our nursery.

The hours will be 33.75 hours per week during term time, to be worked from 8.15am - 3.30pm, Monday to Friday.

The salary is paid at Kent Range 3, £18425.00 (£9.55 per hour) pro rata for part time. 

We require you to have proven successful current experience of working with children in the Early Years Foundation Stage and an ability to lead learning with groups and individuals responding to the needs of children, with support and direction from the teacher.

You will need the minimum of a Level 3 Early Years qualification, or be working towards this, and be able to reflect our nurturing, positive and inclusive ethos. You must have English and Maths GCSE at grade C or above, or adult level 2 Literacy and Numeracy qualifiactions.

St Alphege CE Infant School and Sunbeams Nursery is a happy school within a vibrant Whitstable community with strong links to our sister school Herne CE Infant School.
