The Wyvern School are looking for an amazing SPEECH & LANGUAGE THERAPIST.

Start date 23.08.2021

We are seeking a SALT to join our experienced Speech & Language Team working with pupils aged 4-19 who have speech, language and communication difficulties associated with profound, severe and complex needs, including ASD.

Salary is Kent Range 8, equivalent to Band 5 (£25,692-£29,299 FTE)

The post would suit a newly qualified therapist or a therapist with up to 5 years’ experience.

8.30- 4.30 term time, 5 days per week consisting of 39 weeks + 5 staff development days, plus an additional 3 weeks for preparation and administration support and these duties may be discharged in or out of school. We would however consider a part time/ alternative working pattern for the right candidate.

The successful applicant must be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council.

The successful applicant requires experience in Special Educational Needs or has a desire to work in this specialist field and is willing to develop relevant skills and knowledge. Newly qualified therapists will be provided with preceptorship support and ongoing CPD and training will be supported and encouraged.
