We are looking to appoint an excellent Teacher of Chemistry to take up the post in September 2021.  

The successful applicant will report to the Deputy Headteacher and will have overall responsibility for teaching and learning, achievement and attainment of their subject within the Science department.

We are looking for someone who will work with their departmental colleagues to inspire our highly motivated students and develop their love for their subject, leading them to explore it and value it for their whole life. 

This person is responsible for the organisation of the delivery of  Chemistry in the school and is expected to contribute co-operatively to the Science Department and also to the development and maintenance of whole school strategy, policies and ethos.

The teaching requirement consists of 24 periods of 45 minutes plus Form Tutor time, plus 2 periods of Social, Cultural and Service.  Our school year consists of 32 weeks of contact time.
