Advert

Lady Boswell’s is an outstanding Church School set in the heart of the beautiful Sevenoaks countryside and within walking distance of Sevenoaks town. We have been expanded to two form entry over the past six years and this has enabled us to invest heavily within the premises/grounds. We are an ambitious and successful school, graded Outstanding in our last Ofsted and SIAMS (2018) inspections.

We have a Christian, caring ethos and seek to inspire every one of our pupils to explore their intellectual curiosity and to achieve their God given potential.  We place our children at the heart of all we do.

We are looking for a part-time KS1 Teacher from September 2021 for 2.5 days per week, to cover maternity leave. Initially this role will be until February 2022, but could be extended.

Our school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. The successful candidate will be required to provide excellent references and to undertake an enhanced DBS disclosure.

This post is suitable for an experienced teacher.

You will find a wealth of information about our school on our website www.ladyboswells.kent.sch.uk, including a virtual tour.

Information about the school

Set on the edge of the beautiful Knole Park Estate in Sevenoaks, Lady Boswell’s Primary School has a strong sense of history, having been established in 1675. We are a Christian school which provides a safe and happy haven that allows every child to develop and learn in a kind and caring environment whilst achieving the highest academic standards.

Although established in 1675, our building is much newer, with the latest part completed around 2013.

We were assessed as Outstanding by Ofsted in May 2022, who stated within their report:

Parents describe the school as kind, nurturing and caring

a place where teachers unlock motivation to learn.

Staff receive high-quality training so that they develop the skills they need to do their jobs very well
