We are seeking to appoint a Midday Supervisor Lead to join and lead our excellent team in supporting children at lunchtime. The role involves overseeing the organisation of the Midday Meals Supervisor team and acting as a link between them and the School Business Manager and admin team, as well as supervising, safeguarding and interacting with pupils across the school, to ensure their well-being and safety are supported and that they have an enjoyable dining and lunchtime experience. This role is particularly important as the children are settling back into school following Covid-19 school closures. A supportive adult at lunch time could transform their experience across the school day and lead to positive personal development as well as prepare them for a successful learning afternoon.
The post is for 12 hours per week to include two hours of management time. You will be required to work from 11.45am to 1.45pm, Monday to Friday daily plus an additional two hours a week to meet with the School Business Manager and admin team to facilitate organising the rota and communicating key events with the team. The pay scale is set at Kent Range 3 (£18,425 for a full-time post) pro rata.
