Teacher - Cressey College, Croydon

Cressey College currently has vacancies for qualified teachers in the Croydon area.  This is an exciting opportunity for teachers to join our team of enthusiastic staff to work with children and young people with SEMH and additional complex needs, including autism and challenging behaviour.
Cressey College is a nurture-based, and outcomes driven unique independent school working with Children, Young People and Families (5 – 19).  Our students have complex needs related to their Social, Emotional and Attachment difficulties. We have a deep experience of succeeding with such children, often for the first time. Cressey College enables children to feel safe with our high staff ratio and our therapeutic environment. We provide opportunities, which enable children to develop their self-esteem, and confidence, which then supports them to engage in our broad school curriculum and meaningful activities in the community.

Cressey College offers great training opportunities and a competitive salary - Outer London PayScale M1 – M4.

Experience of working with this group of vulnerable young people advantageous but not essential.  NQTs welcome to apply

Cressey College is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. Successful candidates will need to undertake an Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) Certificate with Barred List Information.

For an informal discussion, please e-mail Kitty at k.clark@cresseycollege.co.uk  with your contact details.
