From September 2021, the VIAT Trust wishes to appoint a Science Technician. The successful applicant will be required to work 37 hours per week, term time only, and will have experience of working in a laboratory environment, preferably in a school and with a Biology specialism. The successul candidate will be required to prepare science experiments at Key Stage 3 and Biology experiments up to and including A Level investigations.
The role is for committed and motivated professionals who would like to work in a school that provides a wealth of opportunities for both its students and staff, along with wanting to be part of a family friendly, team-based workforce. The main VIAT site encompasses three secondary schools and our new School of Science and Technology (SST) will have Year and Year 8 students in 2021-22. The Technician Team currently supports both Invicta Grammar School and this growing school, although in the future, SST will have dedicated technicial staff once more Year Groups join.
