PART TIME LEARNING SUPPORT ASSISTANT
We are looking for applicants with experience in working with children and who are willing to promote our Christian ethos with a caring and positive outlook. Successful candidates will have the ability to use their initiative, have excellent interpersonal skills and show they can work with a variety of children in different Key Stages and alongside other staff both in and out of the classroom.
The hours will be 24hrs per week, term time only, at KR3 (£18,039). This will include some lunch covers. This is a Fixed Term position.

St Margaret Clitherow is a Catholic primary school with 403 pupils on roll. It is situated on the northern edge of Tonbridge. The catchment area consists of Tonbridge, Southborough, Hidenborough, Paddock Wood and surrounding villages. In August 2014 it became an academy as part of the Kent Catholic Schools Partnership - a multi academy trust. From September 2018 the school has entered into a shared leadership model with St Margaret Clitherow, St Augustine's, Tunbridge Wells, St Thomas', Sevenoaks and the KCSP Teaching School Alliance. Annemarie Whittle is the Executive Principal and Caroline Ryan the Academy Principal. There are 14 class bases - 2 in Early Years, 4 in KS1 (2 in Year 1 and 2 in Year 2), LKS2 (2 in Year 3 and 2 in Year 4) and UKS2 (2 in Year 5 and 2 in Yer 6) as well as a school hall, library and sanctuary area. Children in the Foundation Stage are taught in small groups by members of the Early Years Team, in KS1 and KS2 children are taught in year groups for all subjects. There is an extra part time teacher in each phase group in the mornings.
