Are you an outstanding EYFS teacher looking for an exciting new challenge?

Here at Cranbrook Primary, we are looking for an exceptional EYFS teacher for our Reception Class, from September 2021. The position is full time and would suit an experienced EYFS/ KS1 teacher or an NQT with previous experience of working in EYFS settings.

We are a small (but ambitious!) Church of England Primary School. Currently graded as a 'Good' school with 'Outstanding' Early Years (Ofsted, 2017) we are now continuing our journey of aiming to be outstanding in all that we do. If you are an excellent Early Years practitioner, with a passion for learning and a desire to succeed, this could be the job for you!

We are looking for a candidate with ‘sparkle’, energy and a passion for providing the best outcomes for pupils, who has;

  • Strong subject knowledge of the EYFS and KS1 curriculum, and enthusiasm for these important stages in a child's education;
  • A passion for driving up standards and improving outcomes for all pupils;
  • An effective and confident ability to communicate, who is able to work with and support other staff within the phase;
  • A proven track record of outstanding practice;
  • Motivation to lead music (not applicable for NQT candidates);
  • High levels of organisation, proactivity and positivity.

The leadership team are excited about the direction that Cranbrook Primary School is heading, and the continued journey of improvement that lies ahead. If you are looking for a role with a supportive staff team, wonderful children and the promise of professional development opportunities, this may be the job for you!

We are able to offer socially distanced visits to the school in line with national restrictions. Please call the school office on 01580 713249 to speak to the headteacher if you would like to arrange a visit, or to find out more about this role.
