We are looking for a cleaner to join our team.   We are looking for a friendly, reliable, diligent cleaner to join our premises team in undertaking a full range of cleaning duties in maintaining the high standards of presentation at our school.

Key duties and responsibilities:

  • Undertake enhanced cleaning of allocated areas in line with specified standards
  • Operate/use domestic and industrial cleaning equipment and materials, following appropriate training
  • Storage of equipment and cleaning materials safely and securely according to legislation
  • Perform duties in line with the health and safety regulations (COSHH) and take action where hazards are identified, report serious hazards to line manager immediately
  • Collect and dispose of waste from classrooms, toilets and communal areas
  • Cleaning of spillages or accidents
  • Replenish stocks such as hand wash, towels and other materials
  • Deep clean of areas when necessary
  • Attend relevant training and safety checks as and when required
  • Adhere to school policies and procedures in particular Health and Safety and Safeguarding.

Additional hours may be available during the summer break to help with deep clean of the school.
