The University of Kent Academies Trust are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic individual for the role of Attendance Officer to join our friendly team in managing and recording student attendance, to ensure the safety of our students.  This is a permanent role is for 30 hours per week, term time only. 

The successful applicant will have a good level of education, excellent communication skills and good ICT skills.  They will have a pro-active approach and will not be afraid to have at times, difficult conversations with families.  Attention to detail is vital for this role and experience of working in a school or education environment is desirable.     

Brompton Academy’s Attendance Team is a small but busy team of 3 and the role of Attendance Officer is key to safeguarding the wellbeing of our students.  You will liaise with students and families daily and will help ensure the academy adheres to its statutory reporting obligations.  We are keen to support the ambitions of our staff and will be given extensive development opportunities.
