Experienced TA required to support a child with High Needs Funding

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, innovative, highly motivated and  experienced TA to work in Lower Key Stage 2 

The ideal candidate should:

• Have a good knowledge of KS2 curriculum

• Have experience at supporting children's emotional wellbeing and children with special needs

• Have energy and the determination to make a difference

• Have good communication skills

•Have high expectations

• Be keen to develop their skills

• Have commitment to raising standards and achievement

• Understand that every child is unique and reflect this in their practice

• Be a team player, willing to share ideas with their colleagues and be supportive of our inclusive Christian Ethos

• Have NVQ 3

Information about the school

Seabrook Church of England Primary School is situated in a coastal setting in Seabrook, Hythe and is adjacent to the Royal Military canal. Seabrook is an outstanding half form entry school and enjoys excellent links with the local church, St Martin's, and the surrounding community. There are approximately 104 children on role. The school has 4 mixed age classes, each with an average size of 30 children (15 in the reception class). Seabrook CEP School works closely with it's sister school St Martin's CEP School which it federated with in 2017. The schools share an Executive Headteacher and a leadership team that work across both sites. There are excellent working relationships across the federation which enable staff, children and families to work in partnership to support the education of the children.
