River Mill is looking to recruit a breakfast and after school club assistant to join our primary school in Dartford.   The successful applicants will be required to work from 7.25- 8.45am and from 3pm to 6pm,    5 days per week. 

The salary will be Kent Range 4 £18,129-£19,239 (full time equivalent  £8,894)

The successful candidate will:

  • Be someone who enjoys working with children
  • Have relevant qualifications, Level 2 qualification in either Childcare and Development or equivalent
  • Willingness to undertake training
  • Be a good team player, flexible and prepared to use their initiative
  • Be committed to their own professional development
  • Be imaginative, fun, creative and very energetic
  • Have good interpersonal skills
  • Have good organisational skills

  • The successful applicant will need to undertake an Enhanced DBS check.

River Mill is a new free school that has opened in the centre of Dartford. We are part of Connect Schools Academy Trust, which is a MAT with six like-minded schools in Dartford, Tonbridge and Bromley. We will be Combining with Compass Academy Trust from September 2024. This enables us to deliver highly effective CPD opportunities and structure for professional development and career progression.
