Sturry Church of England Primary School are looking to recruit an Intervention Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team. This is a great opportunity to make a real difference to the children at our school.

30hrs/43 paid weeks (term time + 5 weeks holiday). 
Pro rata'd salary on KR3 
(30hrs @ 43 paid weeks) will be approximately £12,250.00 gross

This position is based on the funding provided for a child and therefore is a temporary role subject to annual review on August 31st 2021. 

As a Teaching Assistant, you would be working with individual and small groups of children to provide additional support with reading, writing and mathematics as well as alongside the teacher in the classroom. A knowledge of intervention programmes is an advantage, but not essential.

The ideal candidate will be committed to working in an inclusive framework, working closely with class teachers and the Special Educational Needs Coordinator.
