We are seeking to appoint a Teacher of Science who can deliver high quality learning opportunities for our students across this key curriculum area.  Applications are welcomed from both experienced and newly qualified teachers.  As a start-up school this role will grow as our numbers increase, with the possibility of promotion to a curriculum leadership position for the right candidate in the future.

Due to the key role all new staff will play in shaping the learning community and experiences for our young people, please share with us in your personal statements any additional hobbies, talents and interests you may have that you could use to broaden our extra-curricular offer. We are looking to provide a variety of clubs and activities for pupils to access from year one for example chess, sports, choir, dance, gaming, Eco clubs, origami, media, journalism and astronomy or anything additional you can think of!​​​​​​​

Information about the school

Being part of Leigh Academies Trust: As of 1st September 2022, our Trust comprises 31 geographically organised academies (15 secondaries, 14 primaries and 2 special) educating 20,000 students, and employing 3,000 talented staff. The Trust is establishing four ‘clusters’ of academies: North Kent; Central Kent; South East London; Medway. In addition, the Trust is responsible for one of the region’s biggest initial teaching training organisations, a large teaching school hub and is an accredited apprenticeship provider.
