We are seeking to appoint for a FIXED TERM, an experienced class teacher for a year 5 class, who is committed to raising the attainment and aspirations of our students. The start date will be April, 2021. The position is FIXED TERM for terms 5 and 6, and will be full time hours.

Staplehurst School is a two form entry community school, with approximately 350 pupils. Situated conveniently, between Maidstone and Cranbrook, in a beautiful rural part of Kent, the school, with its ‘outward-facing, best practice at heart’ culture, has achieved sustained academic improvement and continues to retain an excellent, enthusiastic team of staff. Blessed within beautiful and spacious grounds, Staplehurst School has the added benefit of two large sports halls, an ICT suite, music room, library and a newly updated Early Years outside space, as well as a Breakfast Club available from 7.30am. Staplehurst School continues to be at the heart of the village community, where we pride ourselves on being an integral part of the everyday lives of people in the village.
