We are looking for an energetic, fun and commited KS2 teacher to join our small village school. We are a small country school who know our children exceptionally well and strive to give them the skills, confidence and experiences so that they can 'live life in all its fullness.' (John 10:10)

Our school values of Care, Learn and Forgive are seen in all we do as teachers and our pupils understand and use these values in their work. We truly care about all of our community and we look our for each other. We strive to provide the best school experiences. We forgive and encourage mistakes; not only with the pupils but with the adults we work with.

We are currently embarking on the next exciting part of our school journey. We  have a brand new school being built for us at the moment and we will move to this beautiful building in summer 2021 for a September opening. This building has been designed with the outdoors in mind. Each room is bright and has lots of connection with nature. An onsite forest area, large green spaces and scope to create an exciting and inspiring environment in the coming years is our next big aim.

Over the past year we have worked to rewrite our curriculum approach. Building upon a secure foundation we are now pushing our offer further and as a team have ensured this is about ou school and our children.

As a school we work tirelessly to ensure that our team are happy and motivated at work. This year more than any this has been a challenge but we continue to work together on this. We support flexible working and job shares to support work life balance and are open to working pattern for the right candidates. Most importantly we trust our teachers to be professionals !

If you would like to know more about this opportunity please email me and I would love to talk to you about our school.

Information about the school

We are a small community church school made up of 145 kind, motivated and excited learners. Our Christian values of care, learn and forgive are felt throughout our school and we keep central to all we do. Our children are confident and proud of their school and belonging to it. We believe education should not only equip children academically and emotionally but provide memories and shape our children to 'live life in all its fullness' (John 10:10)

We are a staff team who support and encourage each other's development to ensure that the children have the best education they can whilst they are with us. We are outward facing in our curriculum design and development process and welcome new ideas and approaches into our school.

We are in an exciting phase of the school development with a new site being built and prepared for a transition in 2021. We are offering an amazing opportunity to be part of the next chapter of our amazing school where you can lead the development of our curriculum further.

We are proud to support flexible working and part time working in order to have the best staff team we can possibly have.

Please get in touch and come and visit to feel how wonderful the school atmosphere is.
